The log building was built by Ewald Schmock in 1949. The Hitching Post restaurant first came to be in 1956, when Marilyn Marr and Bill Koepp, Jr., or “Marney” and “Buggs,” purchased the lot that the log building stands on, turning it into a restaurant and bar.
**outdoor music cancelled if it rains**
